and is the ideal base from which to explore this incredible part of the country.

Rose Garden Room
Our light and airy loft room is situated apart from the main house with private access via a flight of stairs.
The pitched roofed galley living area leads you into the separate bedroom, which has a king sized bed,
dressing table and chair
The kingsize bed can be converted to 2 single beds.
The room enjoys views over the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains and has its own private garden with
outside table, chairs and loungers to relax a guaranteed privacy.
The bathroom has a shower, a bath and his and hers basins.
There is a shared parking area barely 20 metres
from this very cosy and comfortable B&B room
The Rose Garden Room is offered on a bed & breakfast basis.
Orleander Garden Room
This B&B room is accessed from the main parking up a little path through the shaded garden. Two loungers
below the tree afford comfort and coolness. The room has a lovely terrace to catch the sun for most of the
day. You can sit here and overlook the vineyards behind Sanddrif sipping locally made wine.
Walking in through the French patio doors takes you into the open plan room with twin beds and a very
comfortable sofa.
The twin beds can be converted to a kingsize bed.
The bathroom has a shower and his and hers basins.
This room has a lovely and warm feeling. Relaxed, comfortable and being above the rest of the farm, you are
assured the privacy that a room would provide.
The Orleander Garden room is offered on a bed & breakfast basis.
Pool Cottage
A pathway from the main house leads to a lush garden surrounding a sparkling kidney shaped plunge pool
with our beautiful Pool Cottage situated at the far end. The lovely garden and large tropical trees ensure that
while Pool Cottage is a mere 25 metre walk from the main house, it is completely secluded from the rest of
the farm, so you can relax and unwind in complete privacy.
Pool Cottage is a cosy, one-bedroom rustic log cabin. It is tastefully and comfortably decorated with an
open-plan living area, fully equipped kitchen and king-sized bed. The
bathroom has a shower, his and hers basins and a separate toilet.
Outside, Pool Cottage has a covered veranda along the front with table and chairs, as well as loungers and
exclusive private use of its generously sized swimming pool.With its emphasis on comfort and complete
privacy, our Pool Cottage is designed to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible.
Our Pool Cottage is a perfect country getaway and offered self catering experience.
River Suite Agapanthus
River Suite Agapanthus is the first of our two adjoining self catering cottages showing a wonderful selection
of Ben’s Wildlife photography. Both are situated a short distance from the main house and enjoy beautiful
views across the vineyards and Stellenbosch mountains.
Our River Suites are beautifully designed, tastefully furnished and elegantly finished with features such as
glass tiles and smoked glass showers. There are lots of large windows making our River Suites sunny and
light and offering beautiful views all directions.
River Suite Agapanthus is a one-bedroom apartment and is offered on a self-catering basis (although the
option to join us for our sumptuous breakfasts is always available!!).
The twin bedded bedroom is light and airy with large windows overlooking the gardens and orchard. The
bed can be converted to a king size.
The bathroom is generously sized and beautifully finished with a bath, toilet, shower and the window over
the twin basins means you can even enjoy the view while you’re brushing your teeth !
River Suite Agapanthus has a fully equipped kitchen and you can choose to have your meals either at the
breakfast bar or dining table. There is an open plan living-area with large glass windows and comfortable
leather sofas arranged for optimal views across the neighbouring vineyards and Stellenbosch mountains.
The generous undercover veranda has another set of table and chairs, a most comfortabe sitting area and two loungers for you to have coffee or a sundowner or two while enjoying the view. River Suite Agapanthus sleeps 2
River Suite Strelitzia
Our second, beautifully appointed River Suite is also a 1-bedroom apartment and adjoins Suite Agapanthus.
Apart from its views across the local vineyards and mountains, River Suite Streletzia also overlooks a dam,
which has a small island in the middle and is a heaven for our many local birds.
River Suite Strelitzia has a wonderfully light and airy king sized bedroom with large windows allowing
views across the countryside. The generously sized adjoining bathroom has a bath, shower and his and hers
basins.
The apartment is offered on a self-catering basis as it has a fully-fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar as well as
a dining table, although you are very welcome to take it on a B&B basis and join us for our fabulous
breakfasts!
The tastefully decorated open-plan living area with comfortable leather sleeper couch has large glass
windows and doors opening onto the beautiful fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the view across
the surrounding farmland.
There is also a courtyard area joining the two River Suites which leads across a small bridge and back to the main house. River Suite Strelitzia sleeps 2
Around the farm
Sanddrif Guest Farm was originally established 25 years ago on the corner of a working wine farm. Ben & Charlotte first visited this area in 1998 and were so captivated that we immediately decided to immigrate. They bought Sanddrif in 1999 and have been welcoming guests to our wonderful corner of the world ever since
Lavender Room
This luxury spacious double room is situated in the main house with private access from the garden and it's
own terrace. The Lavender room is a wonderfully decorated light and airy king sized bedroom with Ben's
fascinating wildlife photos. The generously sized adjoining bathroom has a bath, oversized shower and his
and her basins. There is a separate toilet and basin.
The lovely terrace covered with vines, offers spectacular views over the Stellenbosch mountains. The outside
table, chairs and loungers create a most relaxing atmosphere.
The pool is easy to access. This room is often used as a family room on a B & B basis.
